Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Kamili Mail is a privacy-first email client that allows you to connect, manage, and interact with your existing email accounts from multiple providers in a unified interface. Kamili Mail does not provide email hosting — it connects to your existing email accounts via their official APIs or IMAP/SMTP protocols.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use Kamili Mail. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information and to update it as needed. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Content

Your email content remains yours. Kamili Mail does not claim ownership of any content accessed through your connected email accounts. We do not read, scan, or analyze email content on our servers. Templates and labels you create within Kamili Mail are your property and can be exported at any time.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to: use Kamili Mail for sending spam or unsolicited bulk email; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts; use automated means to access the service beyond normal usage; interfere with or disrupt the service; violate any applicable laws or regulations; or use the service for any illegal purpose.

6. Subscriptions and Payment

Kamili Mail offers Free, Premium ($5/month), Business ($10/user/month), and Enterprise tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. You may upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Refunds are available on a prorated basis for annual plans. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

7. Third-Party Services

Kamili Mail connects to third-party email providers (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud) and payment processors (Stripe). Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Kamili Mail is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of third-party services.

8. AI Features

Kamili Mail includes AI-powered features (summaries, triage, compose assistance) that run on your device. AI-generated content is provided as suggestions and may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated content before sending. Kamili Mail does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI outputs.

9. Intellectual Property

Kamili Mail, its logo, and all related software, design, and content are the intellectual property of Kamili Labs LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service. You retain all rights to your own content.

10. Limitation of Liability

Kamili Mail is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Kamili Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits.

12. Modifications

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days notice via email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
